Renters and additional drivers must be at least 18 years old.
A valid driving license .
A valid credit card in the renter’s name is mandatory.

What is the rental period policy?

The rental period is determined at the time of booking. Extensions must be requested and agreed upon in advance and may incur additional charges.

How is payment handled?

Rental charges, including a 24% VAT, must be paid upfront. Payments must be made using a credit card. The renter is responsible for any fines, penalties, or charges incurred during the rental period.

What is the fuel policy?

Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as at the start of the rental. If the fuel level is lower, the renter will be charged for the difference. Unused fuel is not refunded.

Who is responsible for traffic violations?

Renters are responsible for all fines, penalties, and administrative fees incurred during the rental period.

What does the insurance cover?

Rental rates include third-party liability insurance. The renter is liable for damages not covered by insurance or exceeding the deductible limit (€850 + VAT). Insurance does not cover damage to the underside of the vehicle, wheels, tires, or incidents caused under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Are additional equipment and services available?

Baby car seats are available upon request at no extra charge. Free delivery to airports, harbors, and hotels is provided.

Can I transport the vehicle by ferry?

Written authorization from Planos Rent a Car is required for ferry transport.

What is expected regarding the vehicle's condition upon return?

Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as rented, allowing for normal wear and tear. Charges may apply for damage or excessive dirtiness.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made within the specified timeframe before the rental period begins. The exact cancellation policy will be provided during booking.

Can the terms and conditions change?

Planos Rent a Car reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions at any time.
Renters agree to abide by the most current version of the terms.

What law governs these terms and conditions?

The terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes will be resolved in Greek courts.
